I am a Ph.D. candidate in philosophy at UW-Madison. My committee members are Mike Titelbaum (chair), Elliott Sober, and Aja Watkins. Before coming to UW-Madison, I received an M.A. in philosophy from Western Michigan University. My family and I look forward to seeing where life will take us next!

I do work in epistemology, metaphysics, and philosophy of science. My work investigates arguments that combine probability-based reasoning with inferences that involve logical, conceptual, or metaphysical necessity to arrive at conclusions of philosophical significance. My dissertation, for example, refutes a historically motivated skeptical argument in the philosophy of science that takes this form. You can find out more about this and other research projects here.
